Dining at COMO Maalifushi

Restaurant and Bars

Local seafood is served as sushi and sashimi at our Japanese restaurant, Tai, which is open in the evenings. Madi's all-day dining celebrates flavour and freshness, with beach barbecues, healthy salads, and COMO Cuisine classics. Our healthy COMO Shambhala Kitchen menus are also available in-room.

Tai

Tai is Japanese for 'red snapper' and symbolises celebration. Our chefs showcase sustainable seafood from the Indian Ocean. This convivial space is the perfect oceanside location for sunset cocktails.

Thila

Thila is an open-air bar named after the Maldives' rock formations that rise from the seafloor. With a floor of sand, pool and beachgoing guests can enjoy a more laidback dining environment with full access to Madi's menu of favourites. Thila also has a games room that all guests can access.

Madi

‘Madi’ means 'manta ray' in the local Dhivehi language and features menus inspired by the region’s abundant seafood, fruit and vegetables. Madi also holds three themed nights a week.

COMO Shambhala Kitchen

COMO Shambhala Kitchen is a healthful cuisine concept full of flavour with an emphasis on plant-based nutrition. In the Maldives, our chefs make use of the tandoor, a type of Indian oven that allows for fat-free cooking.

Private Dining

At COMO Maalifushi, you can enjoy gourmet meals on your villa deck, picnics on an uninhabited island, and candlelit dinners on the beach. All private meals are prepared by our chefs and served by our COMO butlers, who can also arrange bespoke set-ups for special events.
